The project seeks to empower youth workers from Greece, Italy and Spain on Mass Media competences and provide them open spaces to develop new strategies to tackle negative issues faced by new generations of Europeans (unemployment, anti-Europeanism, xenophobia).

"Rebuilding trust in the European Union through the use of Mass Media” will develop a training course. This training will bring together 12 youth workers from Spain, Greece and Italy, specially those working with (1) young people who are unemployed or (2) young people with a migrant background (first or second generation migrants).

1. Operational definition (empirical) of Mass Media as a tool in the field of youth (especially those unemployed or with migrant background).

2. How to increase, from the Mass Media approach, the sense of belonging to the EU (European citizenship and intercultural) in the field of youth (especially those unemployed or with migrant background).

3. Empower civic and politically, from the Mass Media approach, in the field of youth (especially those unemployed or with migrant background).

4. How to develop, from a Mass Media approach, soft skills (teamwork, public speaking, conflict resolution, decision making) for labor inclusion in the field of youth (especially those unemployed or background migratory).

"Rebuilding trust in the European Union through the use of Mass Media" (2016-3-ES02-KA105-008890) is a project organised by Biderbost, Boscan & Rochin (BB&R), in collaboration with HRYO and Academy of Entrepreneurship, and funded with support from the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.
